Have you ever Heard?

Have you heard one song and it instantly sends a signal with your brainwave into your brain and it rings a bell you recognize very clearly? I know I have, and not only that, it reminds me of the special someone I heard the song with. So I was going through my Window's Play lists of songs that I have collected ever since I got my inspiron 1450, and I suddenly heard many familiar tracks that brought so many memorable, wonderful and unforgettable memories.

Subha, Fei , Celina and Eng Wei

Okay, this was way back at the first official 'AMERICAN DEGREE PROGRAM' concert show in the Taylors College Multi-purpose hall. I remember this was after Fei had gotten up on stage and strutted his embarrassing both hands in front of hips movement when a contest was going on. The following performance was a guy of the ADP school(a hip-hop gangsta wannabe)that was performing 50cent - In DA Club. Half way through his performance, he completely forgot his lyrics and started to mumble like a DIMWITT! So instead, Subha, Fei, Me, Celina and Eng Wei started going, " Go, Go, Go, Go, Go, Go ,Go Go shawty it's your birthday, we gonna party like it's your birthday, we gonna sip barcardi like it's your birthday. And you know we don't give a fuck, it's not your birthday!!!" Simutanuesly we all BOOED him off stage but he still didn't get off!!! So we all busted out laughing at the sucker. Amazing time!

Magdalene

During one of our encounters in the 'WEB' my friend Magdalene was asking me whether I have ever heard of this girl named Colby Caillat. My response to that question was : WHO THE HECK is THAT?? The next thing she did was click onto youtube and typed in her name and her first debut single which was 'BUBBLY'. I listened to it and instantly went weak because I thought her voice was really good and I remember this very clearly because Magdalene told me she was going to be big. *Secretly* I thought : Yeah RIGHT! If I haven't heard of this girl, who the heck will! Also, I didn't wanna believe her. The next thing I knew, her song was playing all over HITZ.FM and she became a huge hit and even had a live gig in LAUNDRY. Her next big track that hit the radio waves was Realize.

GLORY

On one of the gloomiest days of one of my friend's life,Glory. Had just had a death in her life and I remember her asking me whether I've heard of the new Mariah Carey-Bye bye Song. I shoock my head and told her no(this was on MSN). I am sure everyone can relate to the lyrics in this song.

Eng Wei

Believe it or not, this was way back during our first proper meeting. During our intense LAN classes, I got to know Eng Wei a lot more and that was when we first realised we had the same Sony Erricson phone. We both hit off real well and started exchanging songs on our phones and I remember Timbaland feat Keri Hilson - The Way I Are being our favourite as we'll play it all the time and sing along to it! I even remember Eng Wei saying that he likes the REMIXED one instead of the original one. I have to agree it is. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dear Subha

I was very lucky when I was in college, whenever I was in trouble and needed a lift, the always reliable BUT always LATE, MS.SUBHASHINI would always try to come and get me. I am forever thankful for that. During our 'roadtrips' (the drives to and back from College, What's the name of that Malay restaurant? OMG, I completely forgot about it), Rihanna's - Take a Bow would play on her CD player and both of us would listen to it and SING along! OUR VERY own KARAOKE car! Not forgetting that both of us would ALWAYS laugh at each other when we sang it out of tune.

Oh, actually this was actually the very first time when both of us actually realised we both SUCKED at singing. We would drive around in her GREEN Getz sing along to Alicia Keys - NO ONE. and then end up LAUGHING hysterically at each other because we really really SUCK.

How can I ever forget this unbearable track. Subha, do you remember when I click NEXT on your CD player and Ray J - Sexy Can I starts playing and I would look at you with that mean stare that meant *YUCK* and say why the heck are you listening to this and I would always SWITCH it to the next track! BHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA and you still remember what you said? Subha : EHHH... IT'S NICCEEE LAAAAHH! NO, go back, GO BACK or get out of the car! BHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Oh and let's not forget MY very first own CD I made and brought it to College the next day and Duffy - Mercy was playing it and you said "AAHHHHYEEERRRR... NEXT NEXT NEXT" and then it would go to Ashley Tisdale - He Said, She Said and you would say NEXT NEXT!!!!!

How can we not remember this? One day, we were both bored and you rang me up and we were on it for hours on end! You would play songs on your computer over the phone and Janet Jackson - Feedback was on. This was when science started to hit us and we didn't relalize that sound travels slower and our voice that is projected from the microphone to the other of the phone is slower by 1.5 or 2 seconds. I knew every word to the lyrics of the song and you kept telling me : EHHH faster... Faster... FASter... FASTER... FFAAASSTTERRR!!! Brian, you're SLOW LAAA, FASTER!! Then I would say, what in the name of GAWWD are you talking about I'm singing it exactly as you you are.

MARY I mean MARX

My Chemical Romance - The Ghost of You would always play on the radio and somehow you would always emphasize on the ' NEVER COMING HOME, NEVER COMING HOME!!!' XM would always say "YOOOHHH, Max mad liao!"

Nick

Every single time I hear LL Cool J feat J.Lo - Control Myself, I'll remember the time where we were in Nick's House stealing his XXX videos off his computer! BHAHAHAHHAHAHAH and every time I would ask him to play on something nice, he would turn this track on and say : Ahhh, Look at the 'SAAAH HAi' ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE, ZEE ZEE ZEE, ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE ZEE. It would always crank me up.

Tracy
Gavin DeGraw - I don't wanna be ,soundtrack off the series One Tree Hill was always our favourite and would never fail to sing along to it each time we watch the show on DVD together. I don't wanna be anything other than what I've been tryin to be lately, ALL I wanna do is think of me and have piece of mind! By this time, it's Lucas's cameo on the INTRO and you would always say : CHHAAADDDDDD!!!!!! *and grow RED*!

Xue Min

This classical track will never fail to remind me of you as it is your favorite track.

Angie
This Avril Lavigne - Best Damn Thing song is very hard to forget as it always reminds me of the time when we went Karaoke-ing together and both you and Ho Yan would grab the remote and Mic and select this particular song and sing like girls on HEAT!

Celina

I can never NEVER get this tune out of my mind without remembering one of FAV person Ms.C BEBOT!!! I still remember the day you played this song in your car and all 3 of us( Sub, L and me) were saying your car is a CLUBBING car on the go! And we would turn up the track so loud that the whole car would shake!

Do you even remember Alex Gaudino - Destination Calibra?? You had it in your car when you came and pick me up when Lana didn't go into college one day and I still remember telling you I really really LIKED this song what is it? Your answer was it's Calibra Destination. Then the following week or the next I can't remember, we were sitting on the table outside by the deck in the Asia Cafe. On the top corner of Asia Cafe, this song was playing on Hitz.Tv and all of us were there eating and I asked you again, Eh Celina, what's the name of this song again? You looked at me impatiently saying Calibra Destination. Then who was it? If I'm not mistaken it was Subha who had a new remix of the starting of the song on her phone and it was playing very loudly and it rang a bell again in my forgetfull head and I asked you again 'Celina what's the name of this song?' You said, 'AiyoO! How many times do you wanna ask me this? It's CALIBRA -DESTINATION!!!!!!!!!! That time, I got it into my head! X

Subha, Eng Wei, Hizwan

Sigh... Chris Brown - With You brings back too many unforgetable moments actually. In Sub's car driving home, C and Lana's car driving to Ampang, Taylors and SPCA! I still remember waking up early in the morning just to go and help the dogs only to freak out at the sight of DOG SHIT every where we GO! OMFG, I can't remember I'm reminding all of you about DOG effing SHIT! This was the only song that all of us could remember very well and sang to it. It was the only easier song to sing without going OFF KEY, because it's a guy's song.

My Dear LANA

Last but not least, my darling LANA! Remember Taylor Swift - Teardrops on my guitar? I told you about the other guy that was harmonizing in the background during the chorus? 'His the reason for the teardrops of my guitar, the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star...' and you kept forgetting to listen to it and had to go back and back and back and back again to the beginning of the track to listen to it.

I never thanked you properly for all the times you came and RESCUE me and that I ENJOYED EVERY damn second sitting next to you being your Co-pilot in your Wira and Merz! Although the occasional JIOU BA BA 98.8 fm and MY fm was ermm very refreshing. I have to say listening to chinese hits in the morning was definitely INTERESTING! I still remember the way you brought the whole CD into play! Without telling me that you've made a new CD, you would take it out of the soft CD case and put it into the CD player waiting for me to listen to it, that is of course after applying H2o Raspberry Guava all over your hands and HAIR! Then what should come on? Britney Spears - Piece of Me. And I would SHRIIEEKK like a crazy bitch and jump up and down in my seat listening to the HOT new Britney song! Let's not forget our partner in CRIME! Everytime when we would drive back from 'REHEARSALS', when this track came on, at the beginnning of the song, when she goes AHHHAAAA OOHHHH YEEEEEEEEAaAAAAAAA Celina would never fail to go AHHHHHHHH HHAAAAHHHH OOOOhhh YYEEEAAAAAA X2 I'm miss American Dream since I was 17, don't matter if I step on the scene or sink away to the philipines... and as always I would always pick up the lyrics faster and remember it quicker than you! BHAHAHAHHAHAHA good times! After that what should come on NEXT??

RIHANNA - DON'T STOP THE MUSIC! I will never forget Celina telling us this "It's amazing how clapping can be turned into a song" (well ... something like that, I can't remember what exactly.) And as always, I got to learn the clap of the beat faster than you! BHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Let's all not forget the very tune that reminds me of Mr.K and Ms. Erin's house when we were playing CHARADES - Mr. Leslie kept doing the eating act and we couldn't figure it out that we was trying to say Grace and we kept saying 'Prayer, Praying, Eating and all kinds of shit'! Then he kept pointing to his left nipple and we all presumed that he was trying to point out his name badge and that still wasn't the right answer and in the end when he told us the answer. ALL of us said what? and you were afraid that I was going to get it but I didn't DAMN IT! and Mr. Wise didn't believe that it was a song and you whipped out your Sony Ericsson flip phone and started playing it! Damn, we have to have CHARADES round 2! Off all the songs, that were mentioned here, they were definitely enjoyed by all 3 of us in your car during our journey back home. I KNOW CELINA WILL AGREE WITH ME, we REALLY REALLY ENJOYED every DAMN SECOND of it!

P/s: Can you remember Billy Brown? How we were trying to hear whether he really made out with another man? ROTF LMAO! BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I have heard, heard the songs that brings back joy and laughter in our lives in high school and Taylors College. Not only have I heard them all, but it reminds me of a friend that is going to be very hard to forget.
Until next time, xoxo.

Faith

To all the lucky devils out there celebrating the - OH-SO-SPECIAL Valentines Day today, I hope you have a wonderful time out!
Sitting here on my bed at 4 in the morning, I keep thinking of chores and important things that I have to do in a few more hours in Uni. I can't sleep and it's driving me crazy. So I take out a piece of paper and start doing my TO-DO List for Monday and I realize that I haven't even finished crossing out the list I made LAST Week, what the hell is wrong with me? Haven't I learned how much procrastination kills and yet I still fall for it's evil SPELL.

So instead of sitting on my now slowly shrinking butt, I'm going to sit up and start doing all the things that I've planned out to do. This also includes finishing up this blog post. X

the year 2008 and the start of 2009.

The world is filled with little dots, billions and billions of little dots. All jumbled and disconnected, it's pretty disorienting. However, more and more these days I feel like we're all connected and it's beautiful, funny and Good. The year 2008 brought many laughter, tears, joy and sorrow. I am sure that one or more of you have gotten at least one of them mentioned above with you.

In the year 2008, I graduated from one of the most prestigious colleges in KL.
Taylor's College.

In the year 2008, I went to my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th prom in my life ever. Never in my life would I thought that I would end up going to this many proms. Gawd, I guess what we envision to happen never always does come true.

During my year and a half studying and making new friends in College, I have made friendships that will last for eternity. Also, I have learned knowledge, that I will carry with me till I go into the grave. Most importantly I realized that I should not keep everything caged up and let go once in a while and let people in. You never know what the end results are like. Let me tell you this, it's validation and satisfaction. Once in a while, it also puts a smile on that someone who really cares about you.

In the year 2008, I kissed the sorry 'High School' drama life goodbye and entered the first few steps into becoming an adult.

Sometimes, in an effort to become a more happy person in life generally, you have to mix a little bit of the old and the new. For instance, if you would have gone out and bought a new pair of shoes and belt, you definitely have to put on something old of yours that you have bought earlier before to make it look like it's your OWN style.

In the year 2008, I turned another year closer to the big 2-O! It's scary to think how fast time flies and it all just seems like yesterday that I was the tiny little boy playing on the field and now I'm a big boy living in the real world.

In the year 2008, I bid farewell to my KL life and to my friends as I was taking the next step to my journey of my future.

In the year 2008, I had to say goodbye to 2 of the most important people in my life up to that point. It hurts, because I didn't know that this was be the last picture that 3 of us would take as a 3some.

In the year 2008, I said hello to the life in the BIG BEN. I said hello to my whole new life, friends, home and University.

I knew I had someone supportive with me.

In the year 2008, I saw the Sugababes, performing live, a few feet away from me! Also, I don't know if you remember this, but a year back when I posted the 2007 X-Factor winner after Leona Lewis, was Leon Jackson. I met him at Topshop!

At the start of 2009, I saw the Swedish band Alcazar perform live a few feet away from me in all their glory. They were FAN-F*cking Fantastic!

At the start of 2009, I also saw the up and coming biggest girl band in the UK and also around the world. THE SATURDAYS. Performing one of the HOTTEST HOTTEST new track 'UP'! It was incredible, the crowd, the SATURDAYS! Why don't you make a wild guess on which day I saw them at? They're beautiful, talented and amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if they start to take over Girls Aloud. Of course, it will still take some time ladies.

>

At the start of 2009, I met Robert Pattison. Rising star that made his debut in the big screens in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and male star of the world's latest vampire teenage love story 'Twilight'.

So far, it's been a lonely year and down beat one. That is maybe because of the choice that I have made to stay away from people who always sit on their high horses and judge everyone else. Also, because I choose to stay away from people who don't accept me for who I am anymore. I'm tired of arguing and sick of their attitude. I'm sorry but I am only human, if there's one thing that you keep doing and keep getting hurt by it, you would do any red blooded human being would do, walk away and avoid getting hurt.

But 2009, gives me hope and chances to make new relationships and choices. If there's one thing that I've learnt, it's that when you ask God for something, he gives you the opportunity for it, but not hand it to you in a golden platter.

Sexes

So after a long observation of how people behave in the world generally here there, everywhere! Whether it is in KL, London, Italy and Australia. I have come to a conclusion that MEN and WOMEN can lack the physical appearances but share the same behaviour towards other human beings.

After club hopping every week since the life in the Big Ben allows us to accommodate that. I have noticed that Men are VISUAL and Women are EMOTIONAL.

There isn't anything in the world you can do from denying that when you are out there whether walking around town, dancing or doing anything as a matter of fact, will ever decrease the fact that MEN ARE VISUAL. When a hot young brunette walks into the room with pearly white teeth, perfect hair, a tall and lean body with perky breasts, I'm sorry ladies and gents, nobody else stands a chance from taking that attention away from her and focusing it on something else or you. It is sad to say that Men can only visualize what they see in front of them and many a time that object will be out of their league.

WOMEN however, show very different behaviour when they're out. Walking into a night club with a sleek Sefridges dress and one of Ms. Wang's special fall collection heels, you know you're hot and know how to flaunt it. However, what do you ladies do when a tall dark and handsome guy walks by and starts dancing a few feet away from you on the dance floor. I'll tell you what you'll do, you wait... and wait... and wait... and WAIT for the guy to either come dance or talk to you. Why is that?? Is it because you fear the rejection that you will get if you do go up to him and strike up a conversation? Or is it because you think emotionally you wouldn't be able to cope if he isn't interested? But then again, the tigeress who doesn't come out of her hiding spot, will never get her food.

Home Sick

As I sit here and put off the Assignments that are due soon, I think about the happier times I've had in KL. I've never thought that one day, I would feel this way for more than 24 hours. But it hit me hard today when I didn't have a single soul to drown my problems with.

When all of us decided to take on that journey called Uni, we went separately to different parts of the world, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, The Uk, US and Canada. I have so many friends in all parts of the world, how are we ever going to come together again to hang out and have a good laugh? That almost seems hardly possible when you even come to think of the time difference!

One of the people that I weirdly miss is Lin, we promised we'd have a good time in London but the truth is I've never seen her since that last party we went to. Funnily she would always be able to make me laugh and put a smile on my face. Come to think of it, I'd better meet up with her before she hits back to KL for Christmas. The window of oppurtunity has passed for me as to my trip back to KL. I did have a chance to go back for Christmas, but sadly I thought that I'd be better off staying here in London with my friends. How I wish I could take that back and take the next flight to KL. I would never in a million years admit this but yes, I am SO home sick.

Passion, something that can happen to anyone in the world. Passion makes two people in love grow fonder of each other. Passion makes friends grow stronger together. It has come to my attention that maybe for me Passion should be replaced with ambition. I vow that I would take this chance that I have and make the best out of it.

Alright, enough rattling about myself, time to get back to the assignments that needs to be handed in by Mid December. Gasp! If I don't buck up now, I really don't know what I can ever do in life.

My List
1. To see Wicked By next Easter.
2. An iTouch.
3. The new Blackberry Storm.
4. Banana Republic Coat.
5. A sony Cyber-shot or Canon iXus Camera.
